VINTAGE ROSÉ 2009
Harmony, the founding quest of Maison Dom Pérignon, is built here on contrasts and oppositions that sometimes border on contradiction.
About this vintage
Hot, dry and sunny, the summer of 2009 is like this radiant vintage, where the grape appears in all its maturity. The blend reveals Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 as it is: a true incarnation of the fruit. The Cellar Master has accompanied this presence of the fruit to make it the keystone of the blend. This construction reveals the aromas, deploying all the aromatic nuances of the pinot noir – raspberry, fig, strawberry, cherry – exacerbated by the delicacy, developed by the minerality and clear notes of the chardonnay. Fleshy, round and creamy, sweet, the fruit asserts itself. Its freshness evokes the barely picked grain that maturation in the cellar confirms: the fruit is intense, powerful but contained. Thus, Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 is a true incarnation of the fruit of the harvest.

Dress
A beautiful salmon dress.
Nose
The bouquet opens instantly with raspberry and wild strawberry. Powdery notes of iris and violet quickly mingle with the fruit and settle in. When inhaled, we finally see greener nuances emerge, closer to privet, angelica and camphor leaf.
Mouth
The first sensations are tactile, fleshy, silky. They gradually unfold and then become firmer. The hint of acidity, the signature of the vintage, wraps itself in the structure of the pinot to reveal the heart of the wine. The finish asserts itself.
