VINTAGE 2013
The harvest for Dom Pérignon runs from September 28 to October 15 and tasting the grapes reveals a promising balance between acidity and roundness.
About this vintage
The 2013 wine year finally returns to the glorious past of late vintages. After a cold and wet winter, a gloomy, very cool and particularly well-watered spring, the vines began their growth about fifteen days behind the ten-year average, a delay that they maintained until the harvest. A hot and dry summer, the strongest sunshine ever recorded in Champagne, was particularly beneficial for the quality of the grapes. The rains of early September quickly gave way to an easterly wind that allowed the grapes to be kept healthy until the harvest.

Dress
Nose
The nose is delicate and reveals itself through touches of color. The green of eucalyptus, mint and vetiver. The orange-yellow of mirabelle plum, apricot and orange blossom. The brown of pepper, cardamom and liquorice stick. The silver of iodine and toast.
Mouth
The palate is elegant, simple and precise. The attack is enveloping and airy. The wine's structure, fine and silky, is amplified. The saline sensation carries the finish and reveals a deep coherence.
